Survivor Improv League

This league started in 2024 in Victoria B.C. Canada and was created by Julian Polzin. he is a 30+ year improv enthusiast, performer, coach, director, and the list goes on. Saying he is a improv enthusiast would be an understatement. His intent was to create a dynamic and fun competitive improv format which would allow local improv teams to show case their amazing talents, in both game and scene styles. This league is built upon the ideals of Respect, Collaboration, Inclusion, Inspiration, and Dedication. He believes these focus five attributes will leave a long lasting legacy in the improv community for years to come.


  1. Respect: Respect the players, coaches, mentors, yourselves and the audience.


  2. Collaborate: Life is short, share ideas, utilize talents, teach those willing to learn, learn from those willing to teach. Have fun and don't take things too seriously!

  3. Inclusion: Feel free, and safe to have a voice, be heard and to be involved.


  4. Inspire: By inspiring ourselves and others we can be work towards being the best versions of ourselves possible. What an amazing legacy this will allow us to leave behind.


  5. Dedicate: By dedicating ourselves to our craft, to ourselves, to our team mates, and to those that support us, we move forward in unison working together to make the world a better place to be. to inspire, and to explore!


    Also don't forget to Have Fun above all else, for if it is not going to be fun then why do it at all?
